Dort steht doch "Die Elemente des Trägers werden häufig als Taps bezeichnet, ihre Anzahl ist um Eins höher als die Länge des Signals."

Hier hab ich auch noch was gefunden:

Bei "Definition" steht "...these are commonly referred to as taps."
