Hallo

PTC kann bei mitunter mehreren hundert Ampere eigentlich nicht sein. Ich tippe mal auf Entstörkondensator(en).

Manche Fahrzeugelektronik reagiert äusserst allergisch auf auf die heftigen Spannungsspitzen die beim an- und abklemmen der Kabel entstehen. So habe ich mir z.B. mal ein Motorsteuergerät in einem T3 gekillt.
