Elektronik von Starthilfekabel (Elektronik)

Zur Vermeidung von Überspannungsspitzen gibt es Starthilfekabel mit Elektronik!
Die Elektronik besteht aus einem einzigen Bauteil.
Ich vermute ein PTC-Wiederstand.
Erstens: kann das stimmen
Zweitens: wie funktioniert das

PS: mittels Google konnte ich kein Schaltbild finden
