Asynchronmotor bremst nicht (Elektronik)

Natürlich benutze ich den Schalter; ist ja nur einer da. Für mich wäre wichtig zu erfahren, ob der Motor für das Brems-Magnetfeld extra Strom braucht, oder ob das, woher auch immer, einfach immer da ist, aber erst zur Wirkung kommt, wenn man den Strom für die eigentliche Drehrichtung des Motors ausschaltet.
