Transistor-Grundschaltung (Elektronik)

Guten Tag,

hätte nur eine kleine Frage. Wir sind bei der einfachsten Form des Transistor (als schalter). Geschalten wird eine LED ( U=1,6V I=20mA). Meine Frage ist jetzt wieso ist I(led) = Ic. Das verstehe ich nicht ganz.
