Leuchtdiode als Netzkontrolle (Elektronik)

Hallo,
Na ja, diese Blechkiste wird immerhin noch für so um 150€ gehandelt....
Aber davon unabhängig hätte ich mal eine andere Frage an alle: Betreibe ich eine LED mit einem Vorwiderstand am Netz, dann besteht ja zu 50% die Chance, dass die LED mit einem Bein an der vollen Netzspannung liegt. Ist die LED nun in eine Frontplatte direkt eingebaut, kann man sie durchaus berühren. Ist die Isolation der LEDs dahingehend spezifiziert, dass das zulässig ist? Ich hab ja schon so manche zerbrochene LED gesehen, nur weil wieder so ein Lötkolbenakrobat nicht wusste, was er da machte.....
