Die "Hosenknöpfe" waren in den Fünfzigern und Sechzigern gang und gäbe. Da waren nicht nur Primärzellen gegebener Abmaße dran anzuschließen sondern auch spezielle Batterieblocks und Batterie-Kästen.
Derlei Blocks wurden inform von Anodenblocks auch mit hohen Spannungen für Röhrenempfänger geliefert, das war allerdings dann noch weiter zurück auf der Zeitschiene.
