SIGMA ASC 333 (Elektronik)

Dear Walter Willhelm,

Sorry that I write in English but my German is very bad, I hope that you understand English. I am from Holland.
I am also struggling wit the sigma asc 333, the touchpad of my remote control is defect. For your question on the internet I have the following notes out of the documentation:

Chapter XI Password

A) Password set or change
1. Press stop/run and A
2. Press GRAPH and WAIT until PASSWORD? Y/N appears
3. Press Y
4. You can give 4 letters or numbers and CONFIRM appears on the screen. Now give the same 4 numbers again. If you give them wrong you go back to step 2.
5. If you do it right SET OK appears. Wait two seconds and the system goes back to step 1.

From now you have to give the password every time you press STOP/RUN

B) Erase password
The default password is “0000”. If this is set as password no password will be ask. If you like to erase a password you should set the password back to 0000.

It seems that you should erase the password by A and set it to 0000 like B.
Hope this helps..

Can you be so kind to mail the software to me, than I can try to program the sigma through the serial port. Is there anyone that knows the wiring of the serial cable?
