Pullup Widerstand (Elektronik)

Leider habe ich kein Datenblatt des Transistors ich habe nur eine Beschreibung des Sensors. Dort stehen aber nur die von mir bereits genannten Angaben. Der Hersteller des Sensors hat mir noch eine Anleitung geschickt, wie man eine Pull-Up Vorrichtung einbaut. Diese ist für mich leider nicht komplett nachvollziehbar. Dort ist geschrieben, dass ich diesen Widerstand zwischen Spannungsversorgung + und dem Signal einbauen soll. Habe diese Anleitung mal im Anhang angehängt.
