 Die 3,5" Platten sind im Nas und wenn ich mal einen DVD Brenner brauche, dann stecke ich den an den USB Port oder an die Fritzbox. Ich würde mir vermutlich nicht mal so einen Optiplex kaufen, auch an einen Laptop kann ich Monitor und DVD Brenner anschließen und der braucht in der Regel deutlich weniger Strom. So ein Panasonic Toughbook, wie ich habe, kann auch schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel haben, wenn man sie kauft, die gehen nicht kaputt. Und gerade für Basteleien, hat man an den Geräten bis Heute noch eine RS232 Buchse und auch so reichlich Schnittstellen.
Hab zwar zu Hause auch noch so einen PC in der Ecke stehen, aber wenn der mal abnippelt, kommt da auch ein altes Toughbook hin mit Dockingstation.
