Super, danke für die schnelle Antwort! Dioden hätte ich in einem Föhn jetzt nicht vermutet. Eigentlich dachte ich, dass da einfach ein weiteres Spulenpaar hinzu- oder abgeschaltet wird...

Haben diese Störungen irgendwelche Auswirkungen, vom wärmeren Trafoeisen mal abgesehen? Das Brummen klingt schon recht bedrohlich ;)
