Wie funktioniert ein Abschlußwiderstand? (Netzwerktechnik)

» Wenn ich nun einen Widerstand dazwischen klemme habe ich jetzt 2
» Impedanzwechsel Kabel-Widerstand , Widerstand-Luft.

Wieso dass? Zwischen Kabel und Widerstand gibt es keinen Impedanzwechsel. Der Widerstand schließt doch das Ende der Leitung ab.
