PATA = IDE ? (Computertechnik)

Ja, das mit parallel bei IDE und seriell bei SATA wusste ich, diesen Unterschied. Nur habe ich noch nie etwas von PATA gehört. In meinem Rechner hier ist eine SATA - Festplatte drin, wo WinXP drauf ist. Dann habe ich Anfang des Jahres eine IDE - Festplatte eingebaut und sie via IDE-zu-USB - Konverter als zusätzlichen Datenspeicher eingebaut. Und jetzt habe ich eine dritte Festplatte, die ich ebenfalls mit so einem Konverter einbauen möchte. Freie USB - Steckplätze habsch noch.

Aber - nachdem, was Ihr mir geantwortet habt - weiß ich , dass PATA = IDE ist, woll.:-D
