Sevus zusammen,

kann mir jemand von Euch erklären, wie diese Eingangsstufe (es ist ein Oszillator???) funktioniert? An dem Verstärker waren nur die Elkos im Netzteil taub, hat gebrummt, brummt jetzt nicht mehr.
Aber ich kapiere nicht, was ein Oszillator in einem Verstärker für eine Musikbox soll. Da hängt doch wohl ein Kristalltonabnehmersystem am Eingang?

Ja, die Cobra Pick-Ups waren was besonderes.

The Zenith "Cobra" pickup has a small coil and a stainless-steel vane, which is welded to the stylus. The pickup coil is part of an oscillator which operates at 2.5 Mhz. Modulation of the record grooves causes corresponding variations of the Q of the pickup coil, which varies the output of the oscillator. "Plate bend detection" occurs in the oscillator tube, providing an AF output.

Das ist wirklich spannend. Auf was für Ideen die damals kamen. Toll. Da werde ich mich jetzt mal bei Ratgeber Google über
diese "Cobra Pick-Ups" erkundigen. Ich will jetzt das Prinzip dieser Mimik verstehen lernen.

Willst Du einen Oszillator, dann baue einen Verstärker; willst Du aber einen Verstärker, dann baue einen Oszillator.
